On Thursday, Oct. 16, Maria Menounos, E! Entertainment TV host and two-time New York Times best-selling author, will team up with Ocean Spray to show consumers how small steps—like staying hydrated—can help make their lives even better and build to a healthier lifestyle. The site of the iconic cranberry bog display in Rockefeller Center will serve as the backdrop for the cranberry cooperative’s exciting launch of new PACt cranberry extract water – the next generation of Ocean Spray products that harness the power of the cranberry in a refreshing new way. PACt™ water contains PACs, or proanthocyanidins – powerful elements found deep inside cranberries, to help cleanse and purify your body better than water alone.*
During the day, visitors can hear from Adrienne Mollor, 40, second-generation cranberry grower, Lisl Detlefsen, 34, fifth-generation grower and Kristen Henslin, 33, fifth-generation grower, about what it’s like to be a modern cranberry grower; and why PACt cranberry extract water is a better water for a better you. And, Frances Largemen-Roth, RD, best-selling author of Eating in Color and nationally recognized health expert, will be available to talk about the healthy power behind PACt water.
While at the bog, consumers can see for themselves that when cranberries meet water, water gets better. The can engage with a 20-ft. interactive water wall that will cascade over 2,000 pounds of fresh, floating cranberries, and enter their #evenbetter messages onto the water wall.
Throughout the morning, Menounos will surprise and delight New Yorkers with a first-ever taste of PACt water at Rockefeller Center.
